zoeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee................

wat's zoe been up to, mum's trying hard to recall. in a week's time, she will be 'graduating' from her yamaha music wonderland class and moving on to the yamaha junior class. this time round, her classes will be at plaza singapura instead of classes at sengkang cc as the timing is a much better fit than now. come next wed, 30 june, her graduating pieces would include singing both 'twinkle twinkle little star' and 'where is thumbkin (pointer, tallman, ringman and baby)' with her coursemates as well as 'please shake hands with me', while using the bells too. oh yes, the first two songs will be sung in sofege as well i.e. the doremi version. its:

do do so so la la so
fa fa mi mi re re do
so so fa fa mi mi re (2x)
do do so so la la so
fa fa mi mi re re do

for twinkle twinkle little star and;

do re mi do (2x)
mi fa so (2x)
so la so fa mi do (2x)
do so do (2x)

for where is.... thumbkin, pointer, tallman, ringman and pointer.

in addition, she will perform a simple solo piece on the keyboard to the music of '3 blind mice'. even though she will only be pressing 3 of the black keys on the keyboard, but still, mummy is proud that she has managed to catch the rhythm and she knows when its time to play, stop and start again. in fact, mum is still amazed by how these kids remember the sofege version of the above 2 songs simply by listening while mummy here has much difficulty remembering even when she is able to read the notes on the board... hehehehe :)

apart from the music class, zoe has performed a jazzy dance together with 2 other little girls, amy (7yrs) and phoebe (6yrs) for her dance school's concert earlier this month at suntec. she may be the littlest, but she danced really well, having mastered the steps after 5 odd lessons. its really just known as the 'honey honey' dance, named after the name of the song from 'mama mia'. watch her shake her butt and sway her hips and you be surprised at how good she's at it. in fact, its now already almost 3 weeks after the concert and she's still doing the honey honey dance everyday, be it at home, while we are outside, in the car, when shopping and even when waiting for mummy to be done in the small confines of the toilet cubicle! call it a honey honey overdose, but we are going nutz from watching her do it again and again... repeatedly... repeatedly....repeatedly (you get the point)...

besides honey honey, she shakes her hips and dances non-stop anywhere and especially when we're home too. just give her some music and she'll be at it. she comes up with funny dances with every kinds of music/songs and you'll just be amazed by her. she does have good rhythm sense too, mum must admit. she'll sway accordingly to the rhythm. dance seems to be in her, think she should be dancing more and more and that little bro of hers is catching up too. that funny boy also loves dancing and is especially excited when's he's dancing together with the jie jie. he now dances when he watches the wiggles on tv and he's even dancing to okto's little okto woogie dance on tv. its just a delight watching the both of them dance (especially when both parents can't dance for nutz!!! - hehehehehe :p)!!!

to-date, zoe still refuses to poop in the potty. its amazing how she manages to control her bowel and poops only when she has her diapers on, just before nap or bedtime. most times, there will be zero urge to poop, but once the diapers are on - hey voila! its poop time! mum has tried getting her to poop on the potty with lolipops, candies, chocolates and even potato chips, but nothing has worked. its a lousy bait. we are still wondering how to get her to poop in the potty. for now, when she's pooping, she'll go hide inside our walk-in wardrode, close the door and start doing the deed. open the door and she'll either be standing or squatting and giving you a super pained and constipated look while muttering, 'dun see me... i 'da-bian'.... and then hasten you to close the door. you know she's done when she out of the wardrobe and prancing around and of cos... the smell would linger.... y.u.c.k.s.....
