zoe:
last month, zoe defended her lil' bro against a group of boys who were playing some spinning toys when it accidentally hit ethan.
zoe: who hit my brother??? don't hit my brother!!!
boys: no, we didn't hit him!
zoe: he's a little boy you know!!!
boys: ?!?!?!?!?!
actions speak a thousand words. now we know, despite their fights, zoe still loves her bro very much!!! the parents are really proud of her! and now it seems, they are playing together a whole load more these times. and their favourite game would be the holding hands and running together and then falling down together (on purpose) game. they are playing this game all the time and there's no stopping them, whether they are at home or outside in the malls or airport, this is their no. 1 'it' game. they simply love chasing each other too and it sometimes amuses the parents to see ethan 'gong gong' (hokkien!) holding the sister's hand and being led around by her.
dancing's definitely her passion. mum's got news that aunty jody marshalls (who was down personally in singapore to oversee the exams) likes zoe and sees potential in her. and at 4 years, zoe's already gotten for herself a 'best dance progress' award from the school of dance in collaboration with skmcc. the award's given out to only the best progress-er of every class, respectively 3 nursery classes and a total of 4 k1 and k2 classes. aren't the parents really proud of her! mum's just glad that things have slowed down a lil'and that those crazy dancing sessions are over. however, zoe has since started rehearsing for jody marshall's first anniversary concert, to be held on the first week of december. yeah, more dancing to come! and mum's just really glad that her good ole' teacher nicole is back at the school to teach!!! yipee yeah!!!
ethan:
mum's lil' darling is talking a whole load more these times. his favourite 2 words are 'wait' and 'help'! he goes 'mummy wait' when mummy walks ahead of him or away from him. most times, if we are at home, he will want mum or dad to wait up for him and not away from him cos his idea is that either parent could then hold on to his hands, be led by him to the fridge for him to raid, and get his 'kok kok', or cheerios, and what nots ('kok kok'actually refers to the gummy bears that we have in the fridge. one day as ah ma opened the fridge, the boy was pointing and asking for it but the ah ma was dissuading him from eating it and told him that it was 'teng kok kok' {very hard} and since then, ethan has mistaken the gummy to be known as 'kok kok'. haha!!!). so everyday, or rather several times a day, without fail, he would go 'kok kok, kok kok' and if he is not given his daily dose, would go into a fit! his tear ducts would be turned on immediately and he would be inconsolable till he gets his fix! that boy! he now plays the 'manipulation' game! nevertheless, the parents are seeing to it that he does not get his way all the time.
when the daddy scoops him away from whatever mischief that he's up to, the boy will then scream 'help' for dear life until mummy 'comes to his rescue'! that cutie pie! mum cannot resist cuddling and kissing him a zillion times a day!!!
